In the commercial industry, metal hoses are used for a variety of things, from transporting chemicals using pressure to air hoses using vacuum. They are used in a variety of products and applications. Brand names surely include OmegaFlex, American Boa, Penflex, Hose Master and Able Metal Hose. A Commercial hose that we use frequently without much notice is the petroleum hose that we handle at the gas pump each time we fill up our vehicles with gasoline. As you may remember, not only are these hoses very sturdy, they must be flexible for easy manuvering when filling up at a gas pump. Because of high usage, these hoses must be very durable, able to withstand thousands and thousands of flexes without failure. This is a requirement for safety, and the hoses pass a rigerous testing procedure to make sure that they are safe.
